Employment Agreement
The City Manager is the only employee of the City Commission; all other employees of the City are appointed by the City Manager and not subject to the direct supervision of the City Commission. As such, the City Manager is the only employee of the City to have an Employment Agreement. 

Employment Agreement with David B. Dillner dated January 10, 2011


The City Commission approved the following amendments to the original Employment Agreement by simple motion at its January 23, 2012 meeting:

  • Annual pay increased from $75,000 to $82,500; and
  • Phone allowance increased from $50 to $100 per month.


The City Commission approved the following amendments to the original Employment Agreement by simple motion at its December 10, 2012 meeting:

  • Annual pay increased from $82,500 to $86,000; and
  • Provided for a four year employment term.

Employment Agreement with David B. Dillner dated December 10, 2012

 
The City Commission approved the following amendments to the original Employment Agreement by simple motion at its December 9, 2013 meeting:

  • Annual pay increased from $86,000 to $87,656; and
  • Provided for a $1,500 allowance for ongoing professional development beyond what is already provided for in the Employment Agreement.

The City Commission approved the following amendments to the original Employment Agreement by simple motion at its January 12, 2015 meeting:

  • Annual pay increased from $87,656 to $90,156.
  • The Employment Agreement is no longer defined by terms, but will continue until such time as either party elects to terminate the agreement.
