The Union Pacific Railroad is planning to do track maintenance that will require street crossings to be closed for a period of time here in Abilene. Presently their plans are to have the crossings near NE 4th and N. Brady and NE 3rd and Cottage closed from about 7 am to 4 pm on Monday, November 13. Then Tuesday, they will have the N. Cedar and West 1st and Elm crossings closed for the same estimated hours. Wednesday, November 15 plans are to have the UP crossing at S. Washington closed. It is important to note that this schedule could vary or change daily and will be updated as information is available.
