The City of Abilene has contracted with Cillessen and Sons Traffic Control to remove and replace the pavement markings on all of East 1st Street and the 100 block of West 1st. Their crew will be on site Wednesday, September 19, at about 8:00 am to start this project. The work is expected to take two days and will take place in the center of the street. Expectations are for east and west thru lanes to be open nearly all the time but use of the center, left turning lane will restricted at temporarily.
