This week’s spotlight is on Jacob Minson from the Abilene Fire Department! Jacob is fairly new to the Abilene Fire Department, starting in January of 2022 but has already become a great asset to the city and the Fire Department. Jacob says he enjoys being a Firefighter for the City of Abilene because he gets to help his community.
Jacob’s fun facts:
- He was born and raised in Abilene and is a graduate of Abilene High School.
- The farthest place he has traveled is Canada but hopes to travel to all 50 states.
- When he isn’t at the fire department, he enjoys hanging out with friends and his dog, Charlie.
