August is National Dog Month, and we love all our furry friends. Here at the City, we thought this would be a good time to remind our citizens that the City of Abilene requires dog tags for all dogs within city limits. Renewal of dog tags are required annually by February 28th. A late fee of $2.00 will be applied after February 28th each year.
The cost for dog tags is $2.00 for dogs who are spayed or neutered and $5.00 for intact dogs.
