Our employee spotlight this week is Assistant Police Chief Jason Wilkins. When asked what he enjoys about working with the Abilene Police Department, he said, “Working with the Abilene Police Department has allowed me to give back to a community that has given me so much. Every day I have the opportunity to work beside sixteen other dedicated men and women who share a passion to protect and serve the Abilene Community.”
Fun Facts about Asst. Chief Wilkins:
He grew up in Abilene and graduated from Abilene High School and Central Christian College.

He and his wife, Jenny, have two children: Nolan (14) and Avery (12)

The farthest place he has traveled is to the Dominican Republic. He’d love to visit the Maldives some day!

On his bucket list? Red Sox vs. Yankees game at Fenway Park!
