Responsibilities
The Community Development Department oversees a range of development functions including, but not limited to, the following:

- Code Enforcement: Enforcing local codes and regulations related to property maintenance, aesthetics, and quality of life.
- Development Review: Evaluation process for proposed projects to ensure compliance with zoning regulations, land use plans, and community impact.
- Historic preservation: Safeguarding and promoting the cultural and architectural heritage of the community by preserving historically significant structures and areas.
