Update: As of January 13, 2025, the removal of trees along Christmas Tree Lane has been delayed due to the recent snowstorm. Crews will begin removal as soon as conditions improve and snow melting allows. We appreciate your patience and understanding!
The City of Abilene, Public Works Department, will remove the Cedar trees and posts that made up Christmas Tree Lane along NW. 3rd Street and Buckeye Avenue starting on Monday, January 13, 2025.
We ask that residents please remove all lights and decorations from the trees.
Any trees that are still adorned on the removal date will remain until a later undetermined date.
